Currently based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Sue began her career in magazines as Online Editor at the late Saturday Night Magazine. Since then she's worked as a freelancer to develop a solid reputation for consistently producing good work, producing everything from brochures to newsletters to articles to reports. She loves the challenge of making even dry topics fun and readable. Sue's first love of magazines even comes through in the academic work she's undertaken - to write a PhD thesis on nineteenth century Canadian periodicals. Sue also has a passion for creative writing. She just published her first book of poetry, The Days You've Spent, with Tightrope Books, and is working on several other creative projects. Sue is currently President of the Ottawa Chapter of the Professional Writers Association of Canada and a member of the Editors Association of Canada. If you'd like more information, please e-mail her - she would be happy to send you a full resume. |
